These were "double-ended" missile cruisers, the smallest
U.S. Navy ships classified as cruisers

All DLG's Were Converted To CG's 30 June 1975

as of today - there are  NO  LEAHY Class cruisers in commission.

ALL ships in this Class have been scrapped - CG16 being the first

of the class - was the last scrapped.

The USS Gyatt was the first guided missile destroyer.
