=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= From: Andrew Dunn To: kengems@ussleahy.com Date: Friday, September 19, 2008, 10:15:37 PM Subject: Operation USS Leahy Files: Message.html --====----====----====----====----====----====----====----====----====----===-- Good evening, Although DDG-112 has been named perhaps all hope isn't lost for a new USS Leahy. As you may be aware, there are proposals floating around to re-start the Burke production line and produce hulls DDG-113 through DDG-120 either as Flight IIa's or possibly a Flight III variant and a bridge between current DDG's and the CG(X) program. More information should become available I suspect once a new federal budget is approved and procurement issues resolved.
